Madiha Sajid

Madiha is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK and has recently joined Imperial College London in an educational management position. Previously, she worked at University College London, UK for over 12 years. Her profile includes working on regional, national, and international projects on education, career development, women in leadership and support for families. She has a varied role, which includes managing the student life cycle as well as working for a women’s network for gender equality. She sits on several working groups including the Gender Equality Committee, Springboard for Women committee, and Athena Forum. At UCL, she co-led the university wide initiative of Athena Swan which is an award in recognition of the university’s commitment to advancing women’s careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM). Madiha is also the founder and chair of UCL Parents And Carers Together (PACT) Network for which, she has won the prestigious UCL Excellence Award for showing exceptional leadership skills in supporting parents at UCL. She completed her Masters degree from UCL Institute of Education in 2011 specialising in Education, Gender & International Development.
